- Won first place in the first Undergraduate Student Research Competition, engineering category over UAE under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Latifa Bint Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahayan with research titled ( Energetic Optimization in Abu Dhabi University), Abu Dhabi University, 23th of April/ 2013.

(A group of 3 students made a feasibility study for lighting to optimize its usage in Abu Dhabi University as a case study)
