ABU DHABI AUDITORIUM

     Designing a building to be a cultural beacon requires a cultural touch to be felt through this building. One of the UAE culturaly sensitive concepts that started before the borne of UAE country and continued till today to be proud of is (DIVING FOR THE PEARL). You as a user will be the diver who will come to Abu Dhabi Auditorium beneath its shells to see the perfomance ( the pearl).

     The main form of the building consists of two shells; the bigger host the bigger auditorium that hosts 2000 spectators, with appropriate stage design to allow for orchestra performance, dance, ballet and drama, and the smaller shell hosts 1000 spectators,  to allow for lectures and movie screening and small musical performance such as jazz.  Within these two shells,there is also multipurpose hall for 500 persons that can be divided into two or more functional spaces where banquets and celebration can take place as well as small recitals and performance events. Finally, there is an outdoor amphitheatre for 500 spectators that had been host under smalller shell structure towrads the sea view.
